URGENT APPEAL
We are desperately looking for homes for our cats & kittens in foster care at the moment, we cannot take anymore in until we have adopted these out. If you can offer any of these cats or kittens a secure, loving home, please contact the Helpline on 086 8566626.
These are only a small selection we have in foster care at the moment, unfortunately due to the economic climate, we are taking in a lot of surrendered cats, but we have no more room until some are adopted out. We have over 70 cats & kittens in foster care, this is not including the cats that are with their owners and looking for good homes also (over 100!!!!).
PLEASE SPAY OR NEUTER YOUR CAT, IF YOU ARE FEEDING A CAT THEN THIS CAT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY! WE CAN HELP WITH A NEUTER VOUCHER FOR FEMALES ONLY FOR THE UNEMPLOYED OR RETIRED. IT WILL PAY €30 TOWARDS THE COST ONLY, YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY THE DIFFERENCE
There is a surge in pregnant cats turning up as strays at peoples doors due to the fact they are not being spayed. Cats will roam to have their kittens where they feel secure!
If this has happened to you, check with your neighbours, advertise in local shops or contact Highland Radio and then call the Helpline.
If you own farms and need good hunters, please call. We have feral and semi-ferals cats available also. They will be spayed or neutered and this does not detract from their hunting instinct. The ferals will need providing for also. A dry secure shed/barn, access to fresh water and being fed daily. Before you know it you will be rodent free! And there will not be hoardes of unwanted kittens!

Shelley
She is approx 6 months old and very friendly. She will need a special home as she has an underactive thyroid gland, which may diminish her life. She is quiet and will need to be the only cat, shes not too sure of the other cats. no treatment required as of yet, however if she needs it, it is relatively inexpensive! contact 086 0518463
